Jon Bialis

Jon brings a background in finance and investment management, along with a strong commitment to community-focused philanthropy. He serves on the boards of Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports, the Educational Enrichment Foundation, and the Tucson Jewish Free Loan. Across these roles, Jon brings an analytical mindset to creating impactful, sustainable work within mission-driven organizations. With EEF, he helped spearhead the creation of the first esports classroom in a TUSD middle school, expanding access to innovative educational opportunities. At SAAS, he is especially passionate about inclusive recreation and athletic opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Through his work with TJFL, he supports programs like debt consolidation from high-risk loans, helping promote long-term financial stability for clients.
A common thread in Jon’s work is a commitment to creating opportunity—especially for young people—and helping level the playing field for those facing systemic barriers. He was drawn to SVP’s model of engaged philanthropy and believes deeply in the power of thoughtful, collaborative efforts to strengthen communities. Originally from Southern California, Jon has called Tucson home for the past 25 years. He lives with his wife, two teenage sons, and their three dogs, and finds joy in staying active, giving back, and building connection through service.
