SVPI Shares Network Opportunities, Global Summit Updates, and New Resource Hub Reports

SVPI May 14, 2026

SVPI recently shared several timely opportunities and updates for the global Social Venture Partners network, highlighting ways affiliates, partners, nonprofit leaders, and community voices can stay connected, engaged, and visible.

One featured opportunity was SVPI’s partnership with The Op-Ed Project, which offers thought leadership training, one-on-one mentorship from journalists and media professionals, and support for publishing op-eds in relevant media outlets. Thanks to support from the Hewlett Foundation, participation is fully funded for SVP affiliates, partners, nonprofit and NGO leaders, and community voices.

SVPI also announced early planning details for the 2027 Global Summit in Mumbai, India. The 2027 Summit will mark the first time the SVPI Global Summit is held outside of North America. Early bird registration and hotel block deadlines were shared for June 30, with hotel blocks available at The Taj Mahal Palace and Taj President.

The update also introduced SVPI’s new Network Pulse Reports, now available through the SVPI Resource Hub. These automatically generated monthly reports highlight activity, stories, trends, and updates from across the global SVP network. The reports draw from affiliates’ public-facing channels, including websites, newsletters, and social media, creating a useful snapshot of what is happening across the broader SVP community.

Network Pulse Reports include regional summaries, network-wide trend snapshots, upcoming event highlights, and standout stories from affiliates. For SVP Tucson, tools like these can help strengthen connection to the broader SVP movement while also creating more visibility for local work in Southern Arizona.

SVPI also shared upcoming Hub Learning Workshops focused on how affiliates can use the Resource Hub to support strategy, governance, communications, and board leadership. Topics include board recruitment and engagement, governance clarity, decision-making, stronger board materials, planning systems, and alignment across leadership teams.

These network-wide updates reflect the growing momentum across SVP and offer practical opportunities for affiliates like SVP Tucson to learn from peers, share local stories, strengthen governance, and stay connected to the global SVP community.
