Brie Seward


Vice President of Strategic Relationships

Brie is a Hispanic Tucson native who has a passion for increasing the impact of local nonprofits, cultivating thriving partnerships, and connecting with others to create positive change in the world. With a background in marketing, ecommerce, communications, and development, and as the former Executive Director of a local nonprofit, Brie’s experiences serve as a solid foundation for building authentic relationships that produce long-term results.

Brie has 12 years of experience in publishing and digital marketing working in advertising (Harper’s Bazaar and Gourmet magazines), ecommerce (Bond No. 9 Fragrances and Louis Vuitton), and digital marketing (Perry Ellis brands) in New York City and Miami.  Brie led the Autism Society of Southern Arizona for 5 years as its Executive Director. Through her strategic leadership, Brie delivered impactful programs, designed outreach campaigns, developed sustaining partnerships, and led strategic planning efforts all to support the Autism community in Southern Arizona.  She also increased revenue by 97% through grants, sponsorships, and special events (2017-2022).  Brie is a graduate of The University of Arizona Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ArizonaLEND) program, a former member of the Autism Society of America Marketing Task Force, and was part of the Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities (UCEDD) Community Council. In 2021, Brie completed her Master of Arts Degree in Communication from Arizona State University and received her certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona and the University of Arizona Eller Executive Education Program. Brie is the Communications Chair of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona group.

In her role at SVP Brie provides strategic leadership for SVP’s fund development, marketing, and community relations activities; builds public presence and awareness; helps prospective Partners and other investors understand SVP Tucson’s impact and mission and motivate them to join the SVP community; and spearheads a compelling media and marketing presence essential to propelling SVP Tucson’s long-term impact.

As a single parent, Brie is driven by providing a joy-filled life for her two children. Brie can be found on the weekends cheering on her two boys Sebastian and Julian in their pursuits of sports. Brie carves out time to run and admire Tucson’s beautiful landscape, finds exciting workouts on her fitness app, explores national landmarks with her boys, and is active at church.
