Alisa joined the SVP Team in 2018 and quickly advanced to Administrative and Operations Manager. With 18 years of expertise spanning administrative and operations management, project coordination, event planning and team leadership, she brings a wealth of experience and a strategic mindset to her role. Alisa loves the variety in her work and has been responsible for implementing organizational policies and procedures, onboarding new employees, and providing support to the Board of Directors, as well as key initiatives like Fast Pitch and 2Gen Programs. Her diverse background allows her to navigate complex challenges, streamline processes, and drive organizational success.
Alisa, who grew up in Tucson, has a deep passion for the community she calls home. As a child, she was involved in 3 local non-profits: Children to Children (now Tu Nidito), Wright Flight, and the Tucson Girls Chorus. She attended Pima Community College, where she earned a Paralegal Certificate. Most recently, Alisa obtained her Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence through the American Society of Administrative Professionals
An advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, Alisa is committed to promoting equitable access to quality mental health care for all populations. As the staff lead for SVP Tucson’s Equity Committee, she values the opportunity for personal and professional growth through reflection and exploration.
Outside of work, Alisa enjoys traveling, photography, birdwatching, playing card and board games, and listening to music. She treasures time with her husband, Rick, their beloved terrier, Izzy and chihuahua-pug (chug), Lola.
