Stephen Garcia

Steve has been on the SVP Tucson Board of Directors since 2020. He has also been a member of the 2019 Fast Pitch Selection Committee and the 2020 Investment Committee. He is a Public Improvements Designer at Tucson Electric Power and is one of the representatives actively working with SVP through TEP’s Corporate Partnership.

At TEP, Steve manages multimillion dollar electric utility relocation within publicly funded roadway and infrastructure projects for all jurisdictions in TEP’s service territory. He is responsible for research, mapping, multiple stage plan review, facility auditing, determination of project constraints, and coordination of engineering groups and civil plan development. He also prepares and submits project documents for approval from outside agencies and their engineering firms. Finally, Steve serves as point of contact for assistance to TEP construction crews, contractors, other utilities, agencies and roadway contractors.
